What's Board Book? - Board book is a type of book printed on thick paperboard. The paperboard is printed and used for the both the cover as well as the interior pages. Each page panel is a minimum of 2 plies of paperboard thickness. Unlike a typical paper book that is bound with saddle stitching (staples) or perfect binding, a board book's pages are specially folded and bound together. Board books are very durable and consequently intended for small children to use and play with so that they can start very early to learn the alphabet, colors, and numbers and of course begin their love and appreciation for books that will hopefully last for the rest of their lives. Many best-selling titles that were originally published in hardcover or paperboard formats have been converted to board books. Most of the board books produced in the world are produced in China and Mexico; however, board book printed in China has much longer history and quality is much better.

Minimum Book Printing Orders

Our MOQ for board book is 500pcs per item. CM Printing suggest you to confirm the board card material, the thickness, greyboard or white board, the price will be much different.

Template of the book as pic shows:

1. 24 pages (12 spreads including cover)
2. Material --- 350g cardboard, each two pages sticking  together from the back
3. 10.25 inches x 10.25 inches finished size, with ROUNDED corners like Degas book example on your website (see attached)
4. 4 color printing on all pages
5. Glossy varnish on all pages
