Some suggestions for paperback book printing from CM Printing:

Paperback book, also called softcover book, softbound book, there're some different methods of binding for paperback book printing.

If your pages is lower than 30P and thickness of the book less than 3mm, CM Book Printing suggest you to chose saddle stitch binding. Or smthe sewn binding.

When the pages is euqal or above 30P, smythe sewn, perfect binding, wire-o, spiral and comb binding are more common for these books.

Usually, the paper for cover is heavier than the text, but sometimes, the cover materials is same as the text, we call it self-cover. But the self-cover is popular with saddle stitching softcover book printing.

In one words, softcover book printing is quite normal and usually cheaper than other book printing.
